The UCP Birmingham chapter members of People First attend the UCP Adult Day Program in the new LINCPoint facility. We have an advisory committee that consists of 5 members that rotates every six months. This committee meets once a month to decide on and research future meeting topics. We then hold a UCP Birmingham People First Meeting once every three months. Recent topics discussed at our meetings: Independent Living/Adequate Housing, Reviewing and Discussing UCP’s Updated Consumer Handbook, and Voting Accessibility.
