On Wednesday, March 28, 2007 the members of People First of Mobile, AL attended the People Can’t Wait Rally in Montgomery. This took place in front of the State Capitol Building, and it was a time for children and adults with disabilities to come from all over the state and push for action. There are many people who remain on the waiting list to be placed with an organization who can provide them with services. It’s time for the waiting list to be eliminated! The members of People First are aware of how important it is to be served by an organization, because they are all served by Volunteers of America here in Mobile.
